Bank Muamalat made dynamic strides in 2021
amidst a challenging environment of stiff
competition and low profit rates. Nevertheless,

the Group recorded its highest profit before
zakat and taxation (“PBZT”) since its
establishment, coupled with lowest gross

impaired financing ratio and improved cost
income ratio.

All these point to solid business fundamentals
that continue to anchor the Bank whilst we
intensify our focus towards building future-ready

capabilities and furthering the betterment of
society.
